General Practice - A general practitioner is a physician who does not specialize in one disease or organ system but rather sees patients of all sorts and with all types of ailments.
As a general practitioner, I see all age groups from newborn to elderly. I will see people with any illness, disease, or problem.
At times a patient will need to see a specialist, and the general practitioner can help coordinate and simplify that process. I am also here to help explain the meaning of tests and procedures that are proposed by specialist physicians.
As a general practitioner, my primary responsibility is to guide and assist my patients to the best health they can achieve to encourage preventive practice at all stages of life.
